MidLand – About 60 percent of the total number of correctional inmates (WBP) at the Class II A (Lapas) Muaro Padang Correctional Institution in West Sumatra province are involved in drug abuse cases. In an effort to eradicate drug abuse, the West Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kanwil Kemenkumham) is working with the provincial National Agency for Narcotics to organize a correctional rehabilitation service program for 140 inmates at Muaro Padang Prison.
