Microsoft will provide artificial intelligence training to 840 thousand people in Indonesia
Jakarta (MidLand) – Technology company Microsoft will provide training on artificial intelligence (Artificial intelligence/AI) to 840 thousand people in Indonesia.
“I am very, very happy to announce that we at Microsoft will train 2.5 million people by 2025 across the ASEAN region. In fact, 840 thousand people here in Indonesia alone. So we are very, very excited about this training initiative,” said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella during the event Microsoft Build: Artificial Intelligence Day which took place on Tuesday at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
The AI training program for 840,000 people in Indonesia is part of the global tech giant’s mission to provide AI training to 2.5 million people in member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN ) by 2025.
The training will take place in collaboration with governments, non-profit organizations, businesses and communities in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The program will include AI skills training for vocational high school students AI TEACH for Indonesia and opportunities to build careers in cybersecurity for women Ready4AI&Security.

“This means that ability is one of the most important considerations,” he added.
