Mentari Assessment-OxfordAQA partners to advance Indonesian education

Jakarta (MidLand) – Mentari Assessment, a global provider of curriculum certifications, is collaborating with OxfordAQA as an exclusive associate partner to encourage the advancement of education in Indonesia.

“This collaboration represents a significant step in Mentari Assessment’s commitment to supporting schools and educational institutions in developing a global standard curriculum that is also aligned with the Independent Curriculum,” Mentari Assessment director Djuni Rimba said on Thursday , in his official statement in Jakarta.

Djuni said the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (MOU) between the two parties took effect on February 2, 2024. This collaboration aims to provide wider access to high-quality international study programs for schools in Indonesia.

Through this collaboration, Mentari Assessment provides comprehensive services to help schools prepare for exam administration needs, from consultancy to training.

His party will also link the provision of OxfordAQA international qualifications to schools in Indonesia. This makes Mentari Assessment a hub for information and interaction on OxfordAQA international qualifications.

In line with this commitment, more than 100 schools have so far participated in the English language certification exam organized by his party, with more than 14,000 participants in more than 25 cities in Indonesia.

Djuni further explained that the OxfordAQA International qualification itself has been recognized globally by educational institutions around the world and is equivalent to the exam in England.

The benefits of GCSEs and AS and A-Levels are designed to give students the tools to succeed at college and in the world of work. With a comprehensive and inclusive approach, OxfordAQA international qualifications can enrich the education system in Indonesia according to global standards.

“We hope that this program can become a new option and innovation in providing global standard quality education in Indonesia, and that it can become a new option for education in Indonesia, especially for students who want to continue their higher education at abroad,” he said.
