MaxNovel is committed to empowering Indonesian writers through apps
Jakarta (MidLand) – Novel and short story reading app, MaxNovel, pledges its commitment to empowering Indonesian writers by elevating local stories globally through the app.
“Our commitment to creating an inclusive application that frees writers to express their creativity in terms of writing fiction stories in Indonesia goes beyond commercial interests,” MaxNovel co-founder M. Ilham Sepri said on Thursday , in a press release.
Ilham said that the MaxNovel application is ready to take on the responsibility of helping to preserve the culture of young people’s love of writing and reading.

Furthermore, people’s interest in fictional stories should not be underestimated.
He believes that works of fiction, which are usually contained in novels, can be a means to foster an interest in reading and expressing one’s ideas.
To further demonstrate its support, MaxNovel has also formed a short video team, called MaxDrama. This team encapsulates MaxNovel’s stories in a mini series broadcast via TikTok.
This method is also a new standard in disseminating stories written by domestic writers through visual media. The audience has so far reached 10 million views.
Ilham believes that in the future MaxNovel will also be able to expand into producing theatrical films using stories created by writers.
As for the development of writers, MaxNovel also pays attention by collaborating with various Indonesian universities.
This collaboration allows students to receive guidance on writing techniques and also inspiration to hone their talents.
