Jakarta (MidLand) – Marvel Games and NetEase announced game hero shooter titled “Marvel Rivals” which will feature a series of characters from the Marvel universe such as the superheroes of the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the X-Men.
According to Engadget’s report on Wednesday (3/27), game “Marvel Rivals” carries the concept with it Third person hero shooter “Overwatch” style packaged with a 6 vs 6 multiplayer team game format.
Developer game promises that players will be able to find a wide selection of Marvel characters to play as. However, for the launch of the alpha version In May the number of characters available will still be limited.
In the alpha version, the choice of playable Marvel characters includes Spider-Man, Black Panther, Magneto, Magik and eight or nine other characters that have not been announced. The characters Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Hulk and Ironman have been mentioned by the developer, however, their presence in the alpha version of “Marvel Rivals” has not yet been confirmed.

NetEase did not disclose the numbers maps which will be available later in the alpha version, but two have already been leaked maps as a battle arena for players, namely Asgard and Tokyo 2099.
NetEase also stated that objects and building blocks in the game can be destroyed. Additionally, some characters have the ability to change the shape of the environment in the game.
Game The alpha version of “Marvel Rivals” will launch in May for PC devices, there is no confirmation regarding the release on other consoles.
“Marvel Rivals” is not the only game in the Marvel series to have recently announced its launch. Former writer and corporate creative director game Naughty Dog and Visceral Games’ Amy Hennig is working on an action project titled “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra,” which is scheduled for release in 2025.
