List of Xiaomi mobile phones that cannot receive MIUI updates: Okezone techno

JAKARTA – Xiaomi has announced the MIUI update program for some of its smartphones. Unfortunately there are some devices that can no longer benefit from updates.

While you can still receive Android OS updates, new features are no longer available. Software support for this model will also be discontinued in about a year.

As reported by Gizchina, Monday (25/9/2023), Xiaomi 11, 11 Pro, 11 Ultra, Redmi K40S, Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ smartphones can no longer receive new features in the MIUI beta update.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, 13 Pro, 13, MIX Fold 3, MIX Fold 2, Redmi K60 Pro and K60 will temporarily stop receiving MIUI beta updates until the current beta version is ported to Android 14.

For those who own one of the devices listed above, Xioami still promises software updates that include security patches and bug fixes. However, not with the new MIUI beta features.

If you want to experience the latest MIUI features, users can consider registering their device to the Mi Pilot program. The Mi Pilot program allows you to test new MIUI features before they are available to the public.

But it is important to note that the Mi Pilot build may be buggy and unstable. So, if you feel uncomfortable with problematic software, you should use the stable version of MIUI by switching to the latest smartphone.
