Bandarlampung (MidLand) – Lampung Governor Arinal Djunaidi has called on all parties to ensure that the conduct of elections remains conducive for this democratic party to function according to existing norms.
“Bawaslu has issued a call of alarm, so hopefully the holding of simultaneous presidential, legislative and regional elections can take place as it should,” Arinal Djunaidi said in Bandarlampung on Sunday.
He also believes that the general elections, which are only a few days away, can be held smoothly and safely, especially in Lampung, especially because the organizers and supervisors are truly consistent in organizing this democratic party.
“Of course, this must also be appreciated. And we hope that the organizers and supervisors maintain their consistency in creating peaceful elections for Indonesia,” he said.
He also appealed to the public to remain supportive and maintain brotherhood towards whoever will become the leader of the Indonesian nation.
“This election is in the interest of the nation, there is nothing wrong with that because we are brothers, this is democracy, where we compete and try to advance and make this nation successful in the future,” he said.
Lampung Bawaslu President Iskardo P Panggar called on all parties, both election participants and the voting public, to obey all regulations in accordance with applicable laws.
“Of course we hope that these elections will be a means of national integration, so Bawaslu urges and hopes that all parties, both participants in the elections and people who vote, obey all electoral rules,” he said.
