According to him, in fact, it is not certain that the source of air pollution comes from the PLTU, so the government must precisely identify the source of the pollutants. “Don’t just mention sectors. “But the question is where the emitters are,” he said.
Until now, he said, there still seems to be difficulties in finding emission points in the form of pollutants that make Jakarta’s air increasingly unhealthy and calls on the government to mitigate the sources of pollution.

“The government needs to gain clarity based on the data, then adopt directly targeted, comprehensive and effective policies. This needs to be taken seriously,” he said.
According to data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), he continued, the largest emitter of air pollution came from the transportation sector for 44%, followed by manufacturing industry.
