TIME.CO, Jakarta – Be prepared that there will be new products in the line wearable which puts health at the centre. Reportedly, SAMSUNG is currently working on the Galaxy Ring product. Ice Universe, as a leaker, said that the Ring’s launch will be announced at the Galaxy S24 reveal event in January 2024.
Samsung has high expectations for this new product line. “Also according to the version of the informants, the Galaxy Ring is said to be the flagship product of the event, perhaps even surpassing the Galaxy S24 series,” GSMArena quoted.
Samsung was reportedly ready to start mass production, but production was forced to proceed slowly due to the need for further regulatory clearance for health monitoring products. The Ring could supposedly combine the health-focused features of the Galaxy Watches while eliminating most of the smartwatch features. It is also not yet known whether the module will have a screen or not.
It is estimated that the smaller and less prominent shape of the Galaxy Ring can reach a wider market. This product is suitable for those who prefer classic watches or don’t want to wear a watch at all, but still want something to track their sleep, heart rate and exercise.
If Ice is right, then the device will be something more than that smart band ring-shaped. It’s not impossible, this will be Samsung’s next big thing in devices wearable.
