TIME.CO, Jakarta – The technology giant from the United States, Apple officially presented iPhone15 in case Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater, Cupertino, California, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm local time. The launch event was also broadcast live on apple.com, the Apple TV app and Apple’s YouTube channel.
Second Forbesfour new iPhone series have been released, namely iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Being the highest series, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has far superior specifications and is more expensive.
iPhone 15 Pro Max specifications
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is designed using titanium material, a ceramic shield on the front and textured matte glass on the back. There are four color choices ready to pamper the eye, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium and natural titanium.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has dimensions of 159.9 mm high, 76.7 mm wide and 8.25 mm thick and weighs 221 grams. Available in three storage capacities, starting from 256GB, 512GB up to 1TB.
The front has a 6.7-inch (diagonal) full OLED screen and super retina XDR. Equipped with a resolution capacity of 2,796 x 1,290 pixels, with a density of 460 ppi.
Supported by ProMotion technology with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Capable of delivering a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits (general), a peak brightness of 1,600 nits (HDR), and a peak outdoor brightness of 2,000 nits.
iPhone 15 Pro Max is coated with an anti-fingerprint, P3 color gamut, and True Tone oleophobic coating that uses advanced sensors to adjust the color and intensity of the screen. Supports displaying multiple language and font options simultaneously. It has a dynamic island and touch functionality.
The highest level of the iPhone 15 is said to be splash and dust resistant, as it has achieved IP68 certification (maximum depth of 6 meters for 30 minutes). Not only that, the iPhone 15 Pro Max engine is powered by the A17 Pro chip, 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU, and the latest 16-core Neural Engine.
Moving on to the camera, the iPhone 15 Pro Max offers a 48MP main camera with f/1.78 aperture, support for ultra-high resolution photos, second-generation optical image stabilization with motion sensor and focus pixels at 100%.
The 12MP 13mm ultra-wide camera has an aperture of f/2.2 and a 120-degree field of view. Meanwhile, the 2 x 12MP telephoto lens with f/1.78 aperture and the 5 x 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.8 aperture are capable of stabilizing 3D motion sensor optical images.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is also reliable when it comes to video recording because it supports 4K resolution at speeds of 24 fps, 25 fps, 30 fps and 60 fps. There’s also a digital zoom feature of up to 15 times, audio zoom, and slow motion video support for 1080p at 120fps or 240fps.
Connectivity-wise, the iPhone 15 Pro Max supports 5G networks (sub 6 GHz) with 4 x 4 MIMO, Gigabit LTE with 4 x 4 MIMO and LAA, and Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) with 2 x 2 MIME. In addition to this there is also the Bluetooth 5.3 version, NFC with reader mode and a second generation ultra-wideband chip.
