International Female Legends IFL 2023 Free Fire Series officially held in 12 major Indonesian cities: Okezone techno

JAKARTA – Mahaka Gaming Integra (MAGI) launched. International female legends (IFL) 2023, which is a women-specific eSports tournament that aims to provide a safe and comfortable platform for recreational players who wish to pursue a career in the world of eSports.

This event is supported by the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) and collaborates with Garena. In the first series of IFL 2023, the Free Fire game will be played and the audition stage will begin in 12 major cities.

MAGI CEO Waizly Darwin said this activity is an annual program and a long-term commitment by his company to help esports stakeholders in the country develop a more inclusive and quality ecosystem.

“IFL represents our commitment to create significant change in the world of eSports in Indonesia. “#RespectHerGame is the main theme of IFL this time with the hope of giving due appreciation and inspiring women to actively participate in the world of eSports.” Waizly explained to the media crew, Saturday (21/10/2023).

For your information, the experience of Indonesian female eSports athletes is on the rise, with the national women’s eSports team winning a gold medal at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia last May 2023. As a support component for the development of eSports athletes from amateur to professional level, IFL is also an official activity supported by PBESI.

Subsequently, IFL 2023 participants will compete for a total prize pool worth IDR 500 million. Prizes will be awarded in this tournament through five stages, namely:

1. The audition phase (21 October – 12 November 2023) will be held in 12 cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Bali, Makassar, Manado, Pontianak, Medan and Palembang).
