MidLand, Jakarta – Three teams student Indonesia achieved proud results at the Taiwan International Science Fair (TISF) 2024 obtaining two 1st place titles in the fields of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Skilled Sciences and Information Engineering, as well as a 4th place title in the field of Biochemistry.
TISF2024 held from January 26 to February 2, 2024 at the National Taiwan Science Education Center (NTSEC), Taipei City, Taiwan.
“They competed with participants from 27 countries around the world, including developed countries such as the United States, Luxembourg, Japan, South Korea. “This is an extraordinary achievement,” said Doni Nurdiansyah, program chair of the Indonesian Scientific Society (ISS ), in his statement, Friday 2 February 2024.
The three student teams are the champions (medalists) of the National Science Fair for Indonesian Adolescents (NASFIA) competition organized by ISS in December 2023.
1st place in the Social Sciences and Behavior field was won by Myiesha Arvie Sulaksana and Faiz Asmari Ramadhan from SMA Negeri 8 Bandung, with the research title “Vitas: digital therapy based on a combination of binaural beats and autonomous response of sensory meridians (ASMR)” to reduce stress in Generation Z students”.

1st place in the Computer Science and Information Engineering field was obtained by Maxwell Seteono of the SMA Cita Hati West Campus, with the title of the research “Deciphering the illusion a multi-faceted Algoritm in Deepfake Detection”.
4th place in the Biochemistry field was won by Zacarich Widjoyo from SMP Al Azhar 1 Jakarta with the research title “In Silico Carotenoid Compound with Protein in Durian (Durio zibethinus Murr.) Seed Waste and Hedonic Test Innovation in Making Healthy Cereal Organic (HCO) (Nutrient-Rich Functional Food Alternative)”.
