Imaginari dared to make a documentary film driven by enthusiasm
Jakarta (MidLand) –
The executive producer of the film “Harta Tahta Raisa” Ernest Prakasa said that Imajinari as a production house dared to make a documentary film because it involved people who were familiar with the music industry and had the enthusiasm or passion over there.
“For them this is something very passion “It’s not just something new for Imaginari, but something fun for everyone involved,” Ernest said Thursday at a news conference for the film “Harta Tahta Raisa” in Jakarta.
Ernest said he is very lucky to be able to involve creative people who really understand the world of music, such as Soleh Solihun, who has a background as a music journalist, and his Imaginari colleague Dipa Andika, who loves music concerts.
He also said that the opportunity to work on a documentary was something interesting because he wanted to explore an unusual genre.
He also doesn’t want to narrow the audience’s interests by creating only “safe” genres. This is demonstrated by Imajinari’s previous film, “Falling in Love Like in the Films”, which successfully attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers to its previous screening.
“The success of a project that is not within the standards is more satisfying because we don’t know that the formula guarantees safety,” he said.
In line with Ernest, Dipa Andika said that making a documentary film is the best opportunity one can get.
This project, which has been in the works for almost two years with a new genre, means that they don’t want to be careless in taking high risks and try their best, because if they fail, Dipa says at least they tried.
“Sometimes it’s harder for people to want to try, so for us, even if after trying, God forbid, it doesn’t work, we regret it at least we tried,” Dipa said.
The documentary film “Harta Tahta Raisa” was produced by Imajinari and Juni Records, directed by Soleh Solihun and produced by Adryanto Pratono (Boim) which tells the story of singer Raisa’s life as a musician and also tells her life as a mother and wife .
