Hurray! WhatsApp Beta now available on iPad without intermediary applications: Okezone techno
JAKARTA – Meta will launch Whatsapp which is compatible with iPad, without requiring a mobile number. Previously, iPad users had to use a third application in order to use WhatsApp on the device.
WhatsApp is currently testing the release of an application created by Mac Catalyst, Apple’s technology that runs iOS code on macOS. Users who want to try it must first install WhatsApp Beta via the TestFlight application.
In that case, users simply need to open WhatsApp on their iOS device to get started. Go to Settings > Connected Devices and select “Link Devices.”
After scanning the QR code and attaching it, you will be able to use WhatsApp on your iOS device without having to connect it to the Internet.
This increases the chances of smooth communication when WhatsApp users want to switch between devices. However, this application cannot be fully used to view and send status.
Meta plans to release updates and implement workarounds for bugs and other issues that may be discovered. Until this news was published, there was no official statement on when WhatsApp for iPad would be released globally.
However, this beta version clearly offers a breath of fresh air to iPad users because WhatsApp for iPad is not yet available in the App Store. (Taja Aurora Bianca)
