Jakarta (MidLand) – The final stage of the Huawei Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Competition 2023-2024 Asia Pacific Regional concluded on Thursday (18/4) in Jakarta, with the participation of more than 6,000 students from 14 countries and regions .
The winners of the eighth edition of the Huawei ICT Asia-Pacific Competition 2023-2024 were announced at an awards ceremony jointly hosted by Huawei and the ASEAN Foundation at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta.
Xinhua, quoted in Jakarta on Friday, said the winning team of the regional competition will participate in the global final stage of the Huawei ICT Competition Final in Shenzhen next month.
Cebu Institute of Technology-University of the Philippines won first place in the “Innovation Track” category. Bandung Institute of Technology took first place in the “Network Track” category, while the winner in the “Cloud Track” category was won by Singapore Polytechnic.
Additionally, i-Academy of the Philippines emerged as a regional champion in the newly added “Computing Track” category.
