JAKARTA – Huawei has officially presented its new tablet in Indonesia, namely the Huawei MatePad 11 Papermatte Edition. As the name suggests, this tablet is claimed to feel like it works like a book.
Unlike many previously released Huawei tablets, the screen is equipped with some pretty cool technology in its category. The papermatte on this tablet’s 11-inch screen will give you the feeling of writing on paper.
During a media briefing in Jakarta on Monday (10/23/2023), Huawei Indonesia’s national training manager Edy Supartono said that the book-like feel is what makes this tablet suitable for all needs.
“Huawei MatePad 11 PaperMatte Edition targets all segments, from students to workers,” Edy said.
Talking about specifications, this tablet has an 11-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1600, 275 PPI, IPS and P3 Color Gamut. Since the screen uses a matte finish, the tablet’s screen is virtually free of light reflections.
Huawei has also equipped this device with two stylus options for user comfort, so it really feels like writing on paper.
“The two styluses offer different experiences, one can be used for writing thanks to its sharper nib, while the other is suitable for drawing or scrolling on the screen thanks to its pressure. [tebal-tipis] like a real pencil,” Edy said.
