How to Transfer GoPay Balance to ShopeePay

Jakarta (MidLand) – The existence of electronic wallets (e-wallets) makes the system of storing and paying money more efficient. Digital wallets can store the funds needed to make payment transactions electronically.

One of the popular digital wallets in Indonesia is GoPay. In an application, GoPay offers various features, such as transferring GoPay balances to other users or bank accounts, and currently GoPay also provides a feature to directly top up ShopeePay balances.

How to Transfer GoPay Balance to ShopeePay

Here’s how to transfer GoPay balance to ShopeePay:

1. Open the GoPay application and click on the Transfer menu on the home page.
2. Select E-Wallet in the Transfer to Other People section.
3. Select ShopeePay on the e-wallet transfer page.
4. Select Transfer to a new person for the first time or type a name in the search field.
5. Enter the mobile number of the user whose GoPay balance you want to send to ShopeePay. Click Verify to continue.
6. Make sure the mobile number is correct and click on the Trust button, continue sending the balance.
7. The minimum nominal value is IDR 20,000 + IDR 1,000 administration fee. Click Transfer to continue.
8. You will receive the transaction details as proof of delivery.

Digital wallets like GoPay and ShopeePay offer a number of benefits such as making transactions easier anywhere and anytime by providing reimbursement and many other promotions, digital wallets are also equipped with a security system because they have features such as PIN, fingerprint and facial scan.

However, there are also some disadvantages to consider, such as the administrative fees that must be paid every time a transaction is made and also the risk of losing the device.
