How to take a screenshot on an Oppo phone, without physical buttons
Jakarta (MidLand) – Almost all mobile phones now provide the screenshot function, including OPPO. For those of you who use Oppo phones, there are various ways to take screenshots.
The screenshot function is useful for capturing various objects appearing on the screen for reference or documentation. Taking screenshots on Oppo mobiles can be done using physical buttons or without physical buttons. Here are several ways to screenshot Oppo mobiles:
1. Screenshot with Power + Volume Down physical buttons
You can take screenshots on Oppo mobiles using the physical buttons by combining the Volume Down and Power buttons, here’s how:
- Select the screen you want to screenshot
- Then, press both Volume Down button and Power button at the same time, hold them for a few seconds
- If the screen flashes or you hear the shutter sound, the image has been successfully captured
- To see the screenshot results, you can directly open the Gallery application on your Oppo mobile phone.
2. Screenshot with Power + Volume Up physical buttons
How to take a screenshot of Oppo by pressing the combination of physical buttons Volume Up (Up) and Power. Screenshots this way have more comprehensive functionality, that is, area screenshots and next page screenshots, you can take long screenshots, here’s how:

- Press Power + Volume UP buttons at the same time, hold them for a few seconds
- Then a command notification will appear on the right of the screen
- Then select “Screenshot Area”, a white circle will appear on the screen
- You can direct the white circle over the area you want to take a screenshot of
- Press Save to save the screenshot results
- To see the screenshot results, you can open the Gallery application on your Oppo mobile phone.

- Press the Power + Volume UP buttons together and hold them for a few seconds
- Then a command notification will appear on the right of the screen
- Select the next page option
- Select “page down” to scroll to the desired screenshot, a screenshot will automatically be taken at the bottom
- If so, select Save or Save
- To see the screenshot results, you can open the Gallery application on your Oppo mobile phone.
3. Screenshot with 3-finger swipe gesture function
You can take screenshots on Oppo mobile phones without physical keys, using the gesture function with a 3-finger swipe, here’s how:
- Open the Settings menu on your Oppo mobile phone
- Select the Gesture & Motion option, then select Quick Gesture
- Select the screenshot gesture to activate the button-free screenshot function
- Once active, you can select the part of the screen where you want to take a screenshot
- Stick 3 fingers on the screen, then move them to swipe from top to bottom at the same time
- If the screen flashes or you hear the shutter sound, the image has been successfully captured
- To see the screenshot results, you can directly open the Gallery application on your Oppo mobile phone.
