How to save Eid photos in various “cloud” services.
Jakarta (MidLand) – During the two days of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H celebrations, one of the activities that many people definitely did was to capture many important moments using cell phone cameras.
Once saved via photos or videos, these keepsakes will hold unforgettable memories with family and friends.
However, one of the problems you usually encounter when storing too many photos and videos is that your cell phone’s memory will be too full.
For this reason it is a good idea to save the resulting images in the service cloud or cloud computing can help reduce smartphone memory.
Below, MidLand summarizes the various ways of storing data in various services cloud which can be accessed via smartphones and other devices.

1.Google Photos
For devices running Android, via your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos application.
After that, users will be able to sign in to your Google account.
Select the photos and videos you want to suggest by long-pressing the photos and videos. At the bottom, select “Recommend.”
The same method also applies to devices with the iOS operating system, the difference is that the device used is called iPad or iPhone.
Photos saved in Google Photos will later be saved as part of your storage cloud Google from your account, if you don’t subscribe to a storage package it means you are using the “base” Google-provided 15GB storage.
If you don’t have enough storage space, you can add it by subscribing and adapt it to your needs and the costs you want to bear.
2.iCloud Photos
This method is specifically for users who perform manual backups via the iCloud.com website. The stored data will then be visible in the iCloud Photos service.
If you want to save data, you can upload images in “.JPEG” format from your computer to My Library using iCloud.com.
If you want to upload photos to your iCloud shared photo library, use the Photos app on a device with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, or later.

Next, the way to store photos in iCloud is quite simple. In Photos on iCloud.com, click the “upload” logo, then select the photos you want to add from your computer, then click Upload. Done and the photo has been saved to the cloud.
Photos stored in iCloud Photos will later be saved as part of your account’s iCloud storage. If you don’t subscribe to a storage plan, that means you’re using Apple’s “base” storage of 5GB.

3.OneDrive
OneDrive is a service cstrong from Microsoft which these services are typically used by users Personal computer (PC). One way to store data on OneDrive is to use the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser application.
Users who have OneDrive can directly select the “Add file upload” option, then select “new or upload folder”, then select “Folder”.
Next, select the file or folder from the device you want to upload. Then select “Open” or “Select Folder”. Automatically the file you want to upload will be uploaded to OneDrive.
If you access OneDrive with another browser, you can select “Upload,” then select “file you want to upload,” then select “Open.”
If you don’t see “Upload”, users can choose another option, which is “Folder”, then create a new folder and then upload files to that folder.
Not just through a web browser, users can save photos and videos to OneDrive directly on Android devices via applications available on Google Playstore.

After the user signs in to their OneDrive account through the installed application, the user can select the “+” icon available at the top of the screen.
Then tap “Take a photo,” continue to the “Scan documents” option, then tap the “Create folder” or “Upload files or photos” option.
4.pCloud

For Android users, after downloading the pCloud application and creating an account, there are two ways to save photos to it cloud First set the memory automatically and then manually.
Auto-saving can be done by users by going to “Settings” or settings in the pCloud application, then turning on the “Auto-upload” option, after which photos and videos from the device can be automatically saved to the pCloud account.
Meanwhile, manually, you can start saving data by logging into the application and selecting the “+” icon. Next you will be given three options, namely “Take Image”, “New Folder” and “Upload Document”.
To upload and save photos or videos, users can select the “Upload Document” option.
For pCloud users on iPhone or devices running iOS, users also have a similar choice, which is to save photos automatically or manually.
For the automatic method the settings are no different from those of Android, but for manual archiving users can open the application and select the “+” icon at the top and then select the desired option.
If you select the “Photos & Videos” option, users will be taken directly to upload data from your phone or device gallery.
