Then Prima said that the Ministry of Health always carries out a series of efforts to manage monkeypox, such as promotional efforts and tracing of close contacts.


The Ministry of Health, he continued, is also evaluating further doses of the vaccine to be administered if other people are in close contact.

For this reason, Prima appealed to the public not to discriminate against victims or other communities belonging to MSM and bisexual groups, so that monkeypox control management can be carried out optimally.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has reported additional cases of monkeypox or Mpox in DKI Jakarta as of Tuesday, October 24, 2023, with a total of 10 people testing positive, with 11 suspected.
