The concept of purchasing electricity tokens is different from paying monthly electricity bills. Electricity tokens are a prepayment method because customers purchase the balance first. Meanwhile, electricity bill payments are a postpaid method because customers use electricity first and then pay monthly.

Usage e-wallet It also makes it easier for customers who are used to splitting routine expenses via digital wallets. Here’s how to buy electricity tokens via digital wallet:
1. ConnectionAja
– Open the “LinkAja” application which can be downloaded for free via Playstore and Appstore.
– Click on the “Electricity” menu, then select “Electricity Token”.
– Make sure the nominal entry is according to your needs, starting from IDR 20 thousand up to IDR 5 million.
– Enter the customer’s identity, then click “Continue”.
– Review and confirm the transaction, then click “Confirm”.
– Once the transaction is complete, enter the token code found on the electricity meter.
The PLN token code or number consists of 20 numbers in a 4-number series format.
Here’s how to find out the number:
– Check your transaction receipt, or:
– Open the “LinkAja” application.
– Check the “Transaction History” section at the bottom of the application.
2. Go to pay
– Open the “GoPay” application.
– Select “View All” in the “Payment” menu.
– Click on the type of electricity bill you wish to pay in the “Domestic Bills” category.
(For example: PLN token, PLN postpayment or PLN non-denominations.)
– Enter your customer ID number in the appropriate column, then click “Continue”.
– Review the transaction summary displayed.
– Click “Pay” to complete the payment.
3. EGG
– Open the “OVO” app.
– Click on “PLN” on the main page of the application.
– Enter the number of the prepaid electricity meter.
– Enter the nominal amount for recharging electricity tokens as needed.
– Check and confirm payments.
– Make payments and receive payment notifications.
