Higher accreditation, Moestopo FKG University produces 4,721 dentists

This cannot be separated from the superior accreditation it holds and must continue to be maintained,” said Prof. Budiharjo in his statement, Tuesday 27 February 2024.

“I hope that as alumni and as dentists we can all maintain our morals, ethics, integrity and identity,” continued Prof. Budiharjo.

FKG Moestopo University is one of the oldest private dental schools in Indonesia and currently has an undergraduate curriculum for training dentists and a professional curriculum for dentists UPDM (B), both accredited as Superior.

To support learning, the Special Dental and Oral Hospital (RSKGM) for FKG education at Moestopo University has 5 Star Plenary accreditation. As a result, since it was founded in 1962, Moestopo University has produced 4,721 dentists serving the Indonesian people.

The results obtained by the FKG community of Moestopo University in period 1 of the 2024 proficiency exam were 67 declared proficient with a theoretical test (CBT) percentage of 90.7% and practical exam (OSCE) of 83.56 %.

However, the principal of FKG Moestopo University, Tjokro Prasetyadi, stressed that dentists graduating from Moestopo University must be aware that the work they will do in the future is a service.

“The world of work as a dentist is a world of service. Devotion to God through service to society. So never act badly towards society or make us feel like we are needed,” he said.

With the installation of a new dentist, Moestopo University has also expressed its hopes for the future of the dental profession in Indonesia. Graduates are expected to be agents of change in providing better dental health services, innovating in their practice and continuing to learn to address the latest developments in dental science.

“As dentists we work not only for a symbolic sum, but to make ourselves useful to society in general. Because happiness is not a question of numbers but of feelings. The feeling of happiness is for many people,” said student representative Muhammad Auzan.
