Hector Souto calls up 25 players to the TC of the National Futsal Team

Jakarta (MidLand) – Coach Hector Souto has called up 25 players to take part in the Indonesian national futsal team training camp (TC) in Malang, East Java, starting from September 1, 2024, in preparation for the AFF Futsal Championship 2024.

According to an official statement received in Jakarta on Monday, the TC will last for two months.

This activity is a way for players to prove whether they are worthy of being included in the final AFF Cup team or not.

National Futsal Team Tactician Hector Souto is quite optimistic about the TC squad because it is strengthened by the best names in the Indonesian Professional Futsal League with a combination of young, talented and experienced players.

Players will then experience various training menus during the TC, including technical, tactical and physical. There will also be several test matches to measure the team’s capabilities.

The AFF Futsal Championship 2024 will be held from November 4 to 10 in Thailand. Indonesia aims to become the best in the competition after their last victory in 2010.

The players called to undergo TC in Malang were Ahmad Habiebie (Bintang Timur Surabaya club), Muhammad Nizar (Kancil WHW Pontianak), Muhammad Albagir (Unggul FC Malang), Muhammad Nazil (Bintang Timur Surabaya) and Rizqky Hanna (Cosmo JNE) in goalkeeper position.

Then for the position anchor there are Ikhsani Fajar (Unggul FC Malang) and Rizki Xavier (Bintang Timur Surabaya), followed by Ardiansyah Nur (Blacksteel FC) and Rio Pangestu (Bintang Timur Surabaya) in position side anchoring.

Then, Romi Humandri (WHW Pontianak Regional Office) for the all-round position and 10 names in the position flank namely Ardian Kaspari (Kancil WHW Pontianak), Ardiansyah Runtuboy (Bintang Timur Surabaya), Brian ICK (Blacksteel FC), Mochamad Iqbal (Bintang Timur Surabaya), Muhammad Syaifullah (Pendekar United FC), G-Vin Laik (Unggul FC Malang ), Firman Adriansyah (Bintang Timur Surabaya), Reza Gunawan (Cosmo JNE), Samuel Amos (Blacksteel FC) and Yogi Saputra (Pendekar United FC).
