Government launches risk-based business license monitoring portfolio

Jakarta (MidLand) – The government, through the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, has launched a risk-based supervision guide for supervisors of ministries/institutions/regional governments.
The book provides guidance on how to carry out risk-based licensing supervision through integrated and coordinated field inspections of economic operators.
“The hope is that the supervision of economic actors will be carried out jointly, so that implementation can be more efficient and effective and can provide guidance to help economic actors grow and develop,” said the secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for economic affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso in Jakarta. , Wednesday.
In addition to the books, the Coordinating Ministry of Economy also published an educational video on business licensing, product safety and consumer protection, specifically aimed at micro and small enterprises (UMK) in the consumer products sector.
The video deals with business licensing, product safety, consumer protection, etc e-commerce. The video uses easy-to-understand concepts and language, is short in length, and is distributed via various social media platforms so that it is easily accessible by MSEs.
The launch of the video represents an effort by the Indonesian government to educate economic players, especially SMEs, so they can continue to develop, move up in class and be competitive.
“We hope that the launch of this paperback and educational video will be helpful in encouraging the implementation of risk-based business licensing oversight and will be of great benefit to SMEs,” he added.
At the same time as the launch of the paperback and the video, the coordinating Ministry of Economy organized a series of talk shows on the same theme.
The event was held as part of a series of initiatives to strengthen the implementation of Ease of Doing Business and Risk-based Business Licensing implemented by the Government through the Job Creation Act. Apart from this, it also strengthens the implementation of risk-based business licensing across the system single shipment online (OSS).
