Jakarta (MidLand) – Google has the potential to provide a summary e-mail or electronic mail (email) in the Gmail application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) for applications downloaded to Android phones.
The news came from an IT expert known at X with the account @assembledebug together with PiunikaWeb.
They say Gmail on Android will likely make smart improvements in the form of email summarization using AI for long messages.

This way, users won’t have to worry about sorting and selecting important messages from these messages.

Now that this feature is present in the beta version of the Gmail application 2024.03.31.621006929, they see a new button called “Summarize this email”.
Just so you know, Google already offers email summaries for users of the Gemini for Workspace suite, but it’s currently only available in the web version of Gmail.
So actually this feature is not too surprising if it is introduced in an Android application.
This new feature could be very useful for Gmail on smartphones, especially for long or information-filled emails.
Additionally, the new buttons in the mobile app appear to be aimed at everyone, not just Workspace suite users.
As is known, Google already has a generative artificial intelligence which is given the name Gemini.
Large language model or Large language model (LLM) is trained on large amounts of publicly available data and can communicate and generate human-like text to answer various questions.
Google was also recently rumored to be introducing Gemini reply suggestions to Gmail on Android. Phone Arena reported this on Monday.
