Jakarta (MidLand) – Google is preparing an investment worth a total of three billion US dollars or approximately IDR 48.7 trillion to build and expand data center facilities in the states of Indiana and Virginia, United States (USA).

Google announced a funding program worth US$75 million or IDR 1.2 trillion through the Google AI Opportunity Fund with support from Google.org.

Through this funding program, Google.org will partner with nonprofit organizations in education and other sectors to provide free training to one million Americans of various backgrounds to learn AI skills.

The Google AI Essentials training program, developed by Grow with Google and artificial intelligence experts from Google’s Research, Technology and Society sector, was launched at the same time as the funding program.

The first recipient of the Google AI Opportunity Fund, that is the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) and Goodwill.

With the grant funding, IVMF will be able to reach more than 1,800 veterans and military families with the AI ​​Essentials course and enroll more than 2,000 of them in the program Google cybersecurity certificate.

Goodwill organizations will help Google provide AI training and conduct essential AI courses to local communities at no cost, reaching people with disabilities and disabilities, youth, workers, military family members.
