Gibran returned to his duties as mayor of Surakarta

Solo (MidLand) – Gibran Rakabuming Raka has returned to his duties as mayor of Surakarta after he, together with his partner, Prabowo Subianto, won the provisional results of the quick count in the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections (Pilpres).

“Yes, now I am only focusing on my work as mayor,” Gibran said at the town hall in Surakarta, Central Java, on Friday.

Gibran said he is currently still focused on carrying out his duties as mayor of Surakarta, including continuing a series of infrastructure works in Solo.

“Yes, continue. Yesterday I went to Jongke Market, Balekambang, I was preparing for phase three of Solo Safari,” he said.

Before arriving at the office, Gibran had time to look around to see work on the Surakarta Palace Square development project.

“That was me rotation in the square and in other places. This morning check “There has been pretty good progress in the square,” he said.

Touching on the continuation of the Sriwedari structuring project which was marred by disputes between the Surakarta city government and the heirs of the land owner, Gibran stressed that the issue has been resolved.

“The legal problem has been resolved. Yesterday Mr. Kajari, who held the prescon (press conference) himself, had this status. Now we wait for Vastenburg, let’s hope everything goes smoothly,” he said.

The 2024 elections include elections for the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, elections for members of the RI DPR, elections for members of the RI DPD, elections for provincial members of the DPRD, and elections for members of the district/city DPRD with a nationwide permanent electoral roll (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

Participants in the 2024 elections are 18 national political parties, namely (according to serial number) National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party and Gelora Party Indonesia.

Subsequently, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Archipelago Awakening Party (PKN), the Hanura Party, the Garuda Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Rising Star Party (PBB), the Democratic, the Indonesian Solidarity Party. (PSI), the Perindo Party, the Development Association (PPP) and the Ummat Party.

Besides that, six local political parties, namely Nanggroe Aceh Party, Atjeh Beusaboh Tha’at and Taqwa Generation Party, Darul Aceh Party, Aceh Party, also participated in the election of legislative members (pileg). , Aceh The Adil Prosperous Party and the Acehnese People’s Independent Solidity Party.

The participants in the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential elections (Pilpres), namely the couple Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

In compliance with KPU Regulation n. 3 of 2022, the national voting summary for the 2024 elections is scheduled from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
