Garena will hold the 2024 FFWS SEA Spring Finals in Vietnam
Jakarta (MidLand) – Game developer and publisher Garena announced that Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, will host the Grand Finals of the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) in Spring 2024.
The tournament will take place from March 22, 2024 to May 26, 2024, in which a total of 18 teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam will participate for a total of prize money worth US$300,000.
FFWS SEA Spring 2024 will begin with an online knockout stage from March 22 to May 12, 2024, bringing together 18 teams divided into three groups.
The teams that manage to finish in the top 12 will compete in the Point Rush stage and offline Grand Finals at Phu Tho Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 24 to 26 May 2024.
The invited teams will participate in the FFWS SEA 2024 Spring direct invitations and teams qualifying from local qualifiers in each region.

FFWS SEA 2024 is a new competition from Garena with a regional championship format bringing together teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
Garena hopes that having this competition on a regional scale will provide fiercer competition to encourage the development of eSports talent in each participating country.
In addition to the invited teams, Indonesia still has two slots for FFWS SEA 2024. The remaining slots will be selected via FFWS Indonesia 2024 Spring as the qualification route for FFWS SEA.
Currently, the FFWS Indonesia Series 2024 is still in the Free Fire Nusantara Series (FFNS) Regional Qualifiers round.
