Jakarta (MidLand) – Ligue 1 is the top French football competition in which 18 clubs compete to win the title, secure a place in European competitions or avoid relegation.
The LFP (Ligue de Football Professional) is the organising body in charge of the day-to-day operations of the French Ligue 1.
For the 2024/2020 season, PSG is still considered the favorite to win the title.
Meanwhile, the teams considered eligible to compete this season are Marseille, Monaco, Lille, Lens, Rennes, Lyon, OGC Nice and Brest.
The promoted teams competing in Ligue 1 this season are Auxerre, Angers and St Etienne, who replaced the three previous teams relegated to Ligue 2, namely Metz, Lorient and Clermont.

The French championship or Ligue 1 started in August 2024 and will end in May 2025. It will be interesting to watch the competition between the top teams in the French league as they fight for the top throne in the Ligue 1 standings this season.
