TIME.CO, Jakarta – Enrollment in professional training Guru (PPG) The second batch of Pre-service 2023 opened from Tuesday 8 August to 9 September 2023. D4/S1 graduates interested in becoming General Studies, Local Content and Professional Studies teachers can register via the ppg website. kemdikbud.go.id/ pre-service.
PPG Pre-Service is a professional training program taught for graduate or applied graduates, from both educational and non-educational majors for prospective teachers to earn educator certificates.
The process begins with the selection phase and participates in a series of two-semester PPG programs consisting of lectures, practical fieldwork, leadership projects and mentorship. The national quota for the 2023 PPG Preservice Program is 59,019 students
Based on PPG’s official website, the following are PPG’s criteria for potential participants, selection stages, and pre-service fields of study.
Criteria for potential participants
· Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
· Not being or never having been registered as a teacher or head teacher in the Basic Education Data (Dapodik) and in the Information and Management System of Educators and Educational Personnel of the Ministry of Religion (Simpatika).
· Maximum age of 32 (thirty-two) years on 31 December of the enrollment year.
Have a diploma with university degree (S-1) or diploma four (D-IV) registered in the higher education database (PD-Dikti) or registered on the basis of data units of foreign diploma equalization units for graduates from overseas universities.
· Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00.
· Sign an integrity pact.
· Have a certificate of physical and mental health.
· Have a certificate of good conduct.
Have a certificate that you are free from narcotic drugs, psychotropics and other addictive substances.
A certificate of good physical and mental health, good behavior and absence of drugs must be provided only if you pass the final selection and present it in the self-assessment phase.

PPG Preservice Education Period and Cost 2023
PPG pre-service classes are held for two semesters and the tuition fee for each semester is IDR 8.5 million. Prospective students who have passed the selection process and are designated as PPG Pre-service 2023 students will receive a tuition fee scholarship of IDR 17 million to attend classes for two semesters or one year.
Selection stages
There are three selection phases that will be carried out, namely:
1. Level I
Administrative selection, ie to select files and administrative requirements that are
conducted online/online via the Management Information System application
Continuing Professional Development (SIMPKB).
2. Level II
Substantive testing, including field proficiency tests and basic literacy and math tests that are performed offline at designated proficiency testing sites (TUKs). The technical implementation of the test uses the CAT ANBK (Computer Assisted Test Computer-Based National Assessment) application.
3. Level III
Interview tests to explore the professional and personal competencies of prospective students, which are carried out online/online through virtual meeting media/platforms.
Selection stages are sequential so that if you fail one of the stages, you cannot move on to the next stage. The tuition fee for Phase I and II selection is IDR 200,000 to be paid by prospective students.
