The tera stamp has a greater meaning and purpose, namely protecting the interests of the society

Jakarta (MidLand) – The DKI Jakarta (Pemprov) provincial government is committed to bringing order to the commercial sector by providing measurement and recalibration (metrology) services to the public.

“This stamping and redraping service is part of metrological services,” said DKI Jakarta Department of Industry, Commerce, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) head Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo in Jakarta on Wednesday, after participating in the opening of the seal and the affixing of the tera 2024 marking site.

The Queen said the affixing of the 2024 tera stamp was an impetus to rebalance the perception that tera or re-tera activities are not limited to carrying out routine tasks in commercial businesses.

The tera stamp has a greater meaning and purpose, namely to protect the interests of the community, the Queen said.

“Let us ensure that the Tanda Tera stamp becomes a symbol of justice and honesty. Taking truthful measurements is the basis of trust, trust in moving forward together and rising together,” he said.

Besides that, the Tanda Tera stamp is also a way to realize a prosperous Indonesian society with legal certainty and orderly measurements as stipulated in Law Number 2 of 1981 on Legal Metrology.

Furthermore, the Queen also urged officials of the Functionally Determined Department (JFT)-Penera, who have been appointed by the Act as Measurement Judges, to undertake and carry out the mandate with a full sense of responsibility and integrity.

“Let us work together to make Jakarta City a barometer for a region of orderly measurement. A successful Jakarta City makes its citizens aware and concerned about the importance of correct measurement to create a just Indonesian society,” Ratu said.

This Tera mark serves to ensure that measuring instruments, measuring instruments and weighing instruments used in commercial transactions comply with applicable regulations. Therefore, people do not have to worry about making purchases if the scales used by traders are marked as valid.

Furthermore, after symbolically affixing the Tera 2024 stamp, the Queen signed an inscription for the rehabilitation of the Metrological Services Building, Provincial Metrological Management Unit DKI Jakarta.
