DJPb Papua: National tax revenue in March reached IDR 1.57 billion
State expenditure realized until March amounted to IDR 10,228.80 billion, i.e. it grew by 26.20% (year-on-year).

The Ministry of Finance through the Papua Regional Office of the Directorate General of the Treasury (DJPb) said that the national tax revenue until March 2024 reached IDR 1.57 billion or a positive growth of 13.69% (year on year/yy).
Head of the Papua Regional Office (Kanwil), DJPb Moudy Hermawan, in a press release, on Wednesday in Jayapura, said that based on regional fiscal developments in the 2024 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN), the Government revenue realization until March was IDR 4,504 billion or an increase of 131.96 percent (y/y).
“The government expenditure realized up to March amounted to Rs 10,228.80 billion or grew by 26.20% (y/y),” he further said.
According to Moudy, for the development of the basic assumptions of the national economy, the GDP in the fourth quarter of 2023 will grow by 5.04% (y/y).
“Meanwhile, the basic assumption for the regional economy is that the figure is higher than the national figure of 10.79% (y/y),” he further said.
He explained that the inflation rate in Papua has decreased, including minus 1.98% for Papua, minus 2.37% for Mountain Papua, minus 4.10% for Central Papua and minus 3.7% for South Papua.
“At the beginning of the year, international trade revenues amounted to 2,600.07 billion rupees, a significant increase of 664.56% (y/y),” he further explained.
