Jakarta (MidLand) – The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya will provide mobile driving license (SIM) services in four locations on Wednesday.
The information collected through the official mobile SIM service X account @tmcppoldametro is active from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB.
Below are four mobile SIM locations in DKI Jakarta;
1. North Jakarta at LTC Glodok;
2. South Jakarta at Kalibata Trilogy Campus;
3. West Jakarta located in Citraland Mall;
4. Central Jakarta at Lapangan Banteng Post Office.
To access mobile SIM services, applicants are required to bring with them the SIM to be renewed and the KTP, each accompanied by a photocopy.
Once at the point of sale, candidates will be asked to fill out a form and take a health test and a psychological test.
We remind you once again that this service only serves valid SIM A and SIM C extensions. Meanwhile, holders of SIMs whose validity period has expired are required to apply for a new SIM at Daan Mogot SIM Security, West Jakarta.
For extension fees, in accordance with PP number 76 of 2020 relating to types and rates for State Non-Tax Revenue (PNBP) that apply to the National Police, are IDR 80,000 for SIM A extensions and IDR 75,000 for extensions SIM C.
In addition to these expenses, applicants also have to pay additional psychological testing expenses amounting to IDR 37,500 and insurance expenses amounting to IDR 50,000.
For information, drivers who cannot produce a valid driving license will be subject to sanctions pursuant to Article 288 paragraph 2 of Law number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transport. The maximum penalty can be imprisonment of up to one month or a fine of up to IDR 250,000.
