Digital transformation continues unaffected by the PDNS 2 incident
Jakarta (MidLand) – The government assures that the national digital transformation program continues to operate according to the established roadmap and will not be affected by the cyber attack incident on the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2.
“We must not go back, we must continue to move forward. Digitalization continues and Indonesia must be able to be at the forefront. This must not break our enthusiasm for digital transformation,” Nezar said in his official statement received Friday.
According to Nezar, the national digital transformation program has become a necessity for Indonesia because it is believed to increase efficiency, simplify business processes, and make it easier for people to access government services.

He also added that digital transformation is not just the responsibility of the Ministry of Communication and Information, but must be carried out by all elements of the nation.
According to him, especially with the cyber incident that occurred on PDNS 2, this should be a valuable lesson to strengthen cybersecurity in the process of digital transformation.
“I think we’ve learned a pretty important lesson here, yes, and a lot. critic,” he said.

He said that in the future, in the digital transformation, the Ministry of Communication and Information will improve the cybersecurity standards to make them more optimal to prevent similar things from happening again.
According to him, the development of cyber attacks also goes hand in hand with increasingly advanced technology in the world, so cybersecurity awareness is increasingly inseparable from digital transformation.
“There is no safe place, there must be awareness “So, for all digital infrastructure,” Nezar said.

He also apologized again to the Indonesian people affected by the disruption of PDNS 2 which caused many problems for public services.
As a next step in managing PDNS 2, restoring public services as quickly as possible is a priority for relevant ministries and institutions so that the public can enjoy optimal services.
“The President’s order is as soon as possible, so our priority is public services, not letting the public be disturbed and government functions using digital platforms be disrupted,” Nezar concluded.
