Dekranasda Pekalongan maximizes the role of women as actors in MSMEs

I see many women have become actors and business managers in MSMEs. This shows that women have power and are strong

Pekalongan City (MidLand) – The National Regional Council of Handicrafts (Dekranasda) of Pekalongan City, Central Java, is maximizing the role of women as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in an effort to achieve economic equality and social well-being.

Pekalongan City Dekranasda Chairman Inggit Soraya in Pekalongan on Friday said his party is committed to encouraging women to enter the MSME sector.

“I see that many women have become actors and business managers of MSMEs. This shows that women are empowered and strong,” she said.

According to him, women must have the spirit of entrepreneurial actors and be empowered, be able to develop skills and actively create synergies with Dekranasda and local governments.

“We hope that women will not stop where they are, but can move and increase their independence to improve the well-being of themselves, their families and society at large,” she said.

Inggit Soraya called for the SME sector to be able to increase the competitiveness of products adapted to local and global tastes through innovation and creativity.

Beyond that, she said, women also need to be able to keep up with ever-accelerating technological advances.

“Using advances in digital technology for positive purposes as a way to broadly increase product marketing,” he said.
