Counter-Strike 2 released, has better graphics and gameplay: Okezone techno

JAKARTA – One of the phenomenal games Counterattack has finally released its latest version i.e. Counter-Strike 2. This first-person shooter (FPS) genre game now comes with better graphics and gameplay.

Reporting from Dedicate onselfon Friday (9/29/2023), Valve as the developer said that Counter-Strike 2 has numerous improvements.

This is because they use Valve’s in-house Source 2 engine so that the textures produced in the game are sharper and the lighting is also more realistic and has new geometry.

Valve said it has divided the map into three categories. First, the “Touchstone” map is largely intact, so players can see fundamental gameplay changes from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to Counter-Strike 2.

Next, the “Update” map focuses on Source 2 lighting for more realistic-looking reflections and materials. Finally, the “Overhaul” map has been completely overhauled from the ground up, showcasing all the capabilities of Source 2.

Smoke grenades will also appear more realistic. Valve said it has overhauled its functionality, making it more dynamic and allowing smoke to interact with the environment in interesting ways.

“It reacts to lighting [dan] grow to fill the space naturally. “The shape of the smoke cloud can be moved and sculpted with bullets and grenades,” Valve said in its official statement.

Valve says Counter-Strike 2 also supports sub-tick updates. This means that the server will process the player’s actions between keystroke updates (64Hz).

The company claims that this will alert the server when a user fires a weapon or throws a grenade, thus leading, at least in theory, to a more responsive session.
