Commission VIII DPR member RI Achmad asked the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) to allocate additional incentives for religious instructors and religion teachers working in disadvantaged, border and outermost areas (3T).
“Please, maybe this needs to be added. Teachers, preachers, religious instructors, they need more incentives because this is a vulnerable area,” Achmad said at the working meeting of Commission VIII DPR RI (Raker) with the Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection and head of the BNPB, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Achmad also said that this was one of the complaints raised by religious instructors, religious teachers and preachers, who were welcomed by the VIII DPR RI Commission during their working visit.
“That was a complaint when we took the field, like Riau,” he said.
“The amount of the additional proposal (budget) of the Ministry of Religion for the indicative ceiling of 2025 is IDR 17,542,505,686,” the Minister of Religion said.
He further said that the additional budget will be used to accomplish a number of things, including additional allocations for 1,250,000 families receiving marriage and family sakinah assistance, in a bid to reduce stunting rates, improve home hajj services and improve the quality of religious assistance. harmony.
