Chevening Scholarship registration opens September 12, Check requirements
TIME.CO, Jakarta – Chew Scholarships will reopen registration on September 12, 2023 simultaneously in various countries, including Indonesia. This scholarship is a UK government scheme which offers full funding to study English for one year in the master’s programme.
The registrations that will subsequently be opened concern the period 2024/2025. According to the timeline listed on the Chevening website, the scholarship recipients will start their studies in the UK in September or October 2024.
The Chevening Scholarship selection process is time consuming, i.e. a minimum of eight months, from the application deadline until the applicant is conditionally selected to become a scholarship recipient. After that there is still a deadline for UK universities to send acceptance letters.
Therefore, prospective scholarship applicants should prepare well before the official registration opens. Below are the criteria for applicants, the required documents, the scope of the scholarship, the criteria for the specializations that can be pursued and the program for the selection phases of the Chevening scholarship.
