Central Java Bawaslu is hearing Anies-Muhaimin’s problematic DPT complaint
“We have received clarification from the KPU, but we do not know which data is problematic,”
Semarang (MidLand) – Central Java Bawaslu is investigating a complaint regarding alleged problematic Permanent Voters’ List (DPT) data reported by the winning team of the presidential and vice presidential candidate duo, Anies Bawesdan-Muhaimin Iskandar.
The session chaired by Assembly Speaker Muhammad Amin at the Central Java Bawaslu office in Semarang on Tuesday included the reading of the denunciation report of the winning Anies-Muhaimin team.
The coordinator of the national legal group Anies-Muhaimin for the Central Java region, Listiani, said that 502 thousand potential voters registered in the DPT are considered problematic.
According to him, of these, 1,780 potential voters were recognized as in difficulty by the KPU.
“We have received clarification from the KPU, but we do not know which data is problematic,” he said.
Based on this complaint, the Speaker of the Assembly instructed the Central Java KPU to submit a response in the next session.
The trial will take place on Wednesday (21/2) with order for responses from the Central Java KPU.
In the trial held by Bawaslu, the complainant and the accused will be given the opportunity to present evidence and clarification directly.
