JAKARTA – Smart city development or smart city has been ongoing since 2017 and now the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Kominfo) is starting to prepare a project.

As Budi said, significant progress has been made globally in the development of smart cities. According to 2023 Institute of Management Development data, 141 cities around the world have started building smart cities.
