BMKG weather forecast: light to heavy rain hits several areas, North Sumatra and West Sumatra on alert

MidLand, Jakarta – Council of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) released weather forecast for Sunday, November 5, 2023, with parts of Indonesia affected To rain cloudy clear and sunny.

“In general, Sumatra has light rainfall, but South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung, Jambi, West Sumatra, Bangka Belitung have the potential for moderate rainfall, North Sumatra and Aceh have the potential for heavy rainfall,” according to BMKG data.

Java is generally sunny and cloudy, but West Java has the potential for moderate rainfall. Bali, NTB, NTT are generally sunny and cloudy.

Kalimantan generally has light rainfall, but Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan have the potential for moderate rainfall, West Kalimantan has the potential for heavy rainfall.

Sulawesi is generally sunny and cloudy, but Central Sulawesi has the potential for moderate rainfall. Maluku and Papua are generally sunny and cloudy, but West Papua has the potential for moderate rain, Papua has the potential for heavy rain.
