BMKG weather forecast: Cyclone Seeds 91W, rain, Bandung 16 degrees, Banjarmasin smoky
TIME.CO, Jakarta – Council of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) monitor movement Cyclone Seed Tropical 91W is located in the South China Sea, precisely around 15.0°N 113.6°E. “It sows a cyclone with a maximum wind speed of 15 knots and a minimum air pressure of 1,003 hPa,” as quoted by BMKG.
Global-scale NWP model data for the next 24-48 hours shows westward movement of the cyclone seed towards mainland Vietnam with the potential to become a low category tropical cyclone.
To rain accompanied by lightning on Monday 25 September 2023 is expected to occur in Tarakan and Medan. Rain with light intensity is possible in Banda Aceh and Pekanbaru.

BMKG has issued an early warning about high waves that could potentially occur in several Indonesian waters on 25 and 26 September 2023.
Winds in northern Indonesia generally move from the southeast-southwest with wind speeds between 8 and 25 knots. In southern Indonesia, however, it generally moves from east to south-east at a speed of 10-25 knots.
The highest wind speeds were observed in the northern Strait of Malacca, northern Natuna Sea, Maluku Sea, Yos Sudarso waters, Merauke waters and eastern Arafuru Sea.
This condition causes the possibility of increased waves up to 2.5-4 m in the waters of Bengkulu west of Lampung, in the Indian Ocean west of the Mentawai Islands up to Lampung, in the western and southern parts of the Sunda Strait, in the waters south of Banten in East Java, the waters south of Bali to Sumbawa, the southern part of the Bali-Lombok-Alas Strait and the Indian Ocean south of Banten to NTT.
