BMKG says Semarang temperature is 37 degrees Celsius and 5 provincial capitals are smoky

The air temperature varies between 20-37°C with the lowest temperature in Bandung and the highest temperature in Semarang.

Forecasts based on the impact of heavy rainfall with alert status occur in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan and Papua. No province is on alert.

BMKG has issued an early warning of high waves potentially occurring in several Indonesian waters on October 8 and 9, 2023.
