BMKG: Palembang is still smoky, Medan is raining, Jakarta and Bandung are sunny

TIME.CO, Jakarta – Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics o BMKG forecasts that in some large cities of Indonesia, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, the weather will be sunny and cloudy.

Quoted from the official website BMKG, on Wednesday, almost all major cities in Indonesia are expected to still have sunny and cloudy weather, meaning it is not expected to rain.

Even so, the weather is still expected to be smoky in the morning in a major city in Indonesia. BMKG predicts this will happen in Palembang city.

BMKG also predicts that the daytime weather in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Makassar, Palembang and Bali will be dominated by sunny and partly cloudy weather.

Rain is expected to fall on the city of Medan with moderate to light intensity from midday to midnight. Meanwhile, for other cities, BMKG said the weather will be sunny and cloudy.

According to BMKG, the average temperature in large Indonesian cities reaches 25 degrees Celsius. Jakarta has a temperature level of 26-31, Bandung 45-95, Semarang 40-75, Surabaya 25-34, Makassar 25-35, Palembang 24-35, Medan 23-33 and Denpasar reaches 25-34.

For humidity levels in large cities in Indonesia, the average reaches 45%. DKI Jakarta has humidity levels reaching 70-85%, Bandung 50-90%, Semarang 50-90%, Surabaya 45-85%, Makassar 60-85%, Palembang 35-95%, Medan 85-100 and Denpasar 65-90.
