Bawaslu: 128 polling stations in Papua operate PSS, PSU and PSL

Jayapura (MidLand) – Papua President Bawaslu Hardin Halidin said that 128 polling stations in Papua have received recommendations to carry out follow-up voting (PSS), repeat voting (PSU) and follow-up voting (PSL).
“The 128 TPS consist of PSU with 80 TPS, PSS with 39 TPS and PSL with nine TPS. Hopefully, all voting activities, including PSU, PSL and PSS, which last took place on Saturday (24/ 2) significant obstacles can be accomplished without any experience,” Hardin Halidin said in Jayapura on Saturday.
It was said that the re-poll regions (PSUs) were Jayapura Regency with 54 TPS, Mamberamo Raya with 10 TPS, Jayapura City with six TPS, Yapen Islands with four TPS, Biak with three TPS and Keerom Regency with two TPS. .
The PSS has been implemented in Waropen, Mamberamo Raya, Keerom and Sarmi regencies, Hardin said explaining that the PSS has been implemented in 39 polling stations.
Meanwhile, the entire PSL took place in the city of Jayapura, precisely in nine polling stations, explained Papua Bawaslu President Hardin Halidin.
It was recognized that currently members of supervisory committees in cities and districts implementing PSU, PSS and PSL will monitor and supervise its implementation with the assistance of TPS supervisors (PTPS).
“Bawaslu will continue to monitor the implementation of PSS, PSU and PSL gradually in the districts and cities that have received recommendations,” said Bawaslu Papua President Hardin Halidin.
Papua Province includes the city and districts of Jayapura, Keerom, Sarmi, Mamberamo Raya, Supiori, Biak Numfor, Waropen and the Yapen Islands District.
