The momentum of this degree also reminded him of when he studied Geological Engineering at UGM. He did not expect that his children would follow in his footsteps and study at the first campus established by the post-independence government.
“All of us, including me, are very grateful to have graduated from UGM, a very credible university in Indonesia,” Basuki said.
Basuki also said he received a message from educators to always maintain the good name of the alma mater in participating in society. “Continue to remember the promise (the Panca Prasetya alumni oath), maintain the good name of the alma mater, continue to innovate and advance science,” he said.
