Bandarlampung KPU launches Pilkada 2024 stages and mascots
Bandarlampung (MidLand) – The Bandarlampung General Election Commission (KPU) has launched the stages and mascots of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections to the public in Tugu Adipura, the local town.
“Before the voting and voting, in exactly 192 days, we will launch the Pilkada stages and mascots,” Bandarlampung KPU president Dedy Triyadi said in Bandarlampung on Sunday.
He said the launch of the Pilkada stages and mascots in Bandarlampung was the first in Lampung after the Indonesian KPU and Lampung Province launched them.
“In Lampung, the launch of Pilkada Stadiums and Mascots, Bandarlampung City is the first of the 15 districts and cities. After Indonesia KPU launched Pilkada Stadiums and Mascots on March 30 and Lampung KPU on April 27 “Dedy said.
He said this activity also aims to socialize the stages of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections and is expected to increase community participation.
“With this action, we can increase public participation in exercising the right to vote on November 27,” he said
He also said that the Bandarlampung KPU hopes that future regional elections will be a means to channel people’s aspirations.
“So for regional chief candidates, our Pilkada day is a place to compete for ideas and programs that can advance and prosper the people of Bandarlampung in the future,” he said.
Bandarlampung Mayor Eva Dwiana has called on all elements of society to make the November 2024 simultaneous regional elections a success.
“I hope the people of Bandarlampung can come out on the next voting day, choose a leader after their own heart. Then maintain security and order in the regional elections so that everything runs safely and smoothly,” he said.
