Bali Safari Park will host the 2024 IAAPA APAC Spring Summit
Bali, Indonesia, (MidLand/PRNewswire) – Taman Safari Bali is proud to be the opening venue of the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit on March 7, 2024. This two-day event, March 7-8, invites attractions industry professionals Worldwide. from around the world and Asia-Pacific to come together and share valuable experiences and insights focused on attractions, recreation, nature and sustainable operations.
IAAPA Asia Pacific (IAAPA APAC) itself is part of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) which focuses on the Asia Pacific region. This organization connects entertainment and attractions industry professionals in the region.
IAAPA APAC organizes various events, conferences and summits aimed at promoting best practices, innovation and collaboration among industry professionals. This includes opportunities to exchange knowledge, keep abreast of the latest industry developments and build strong business relationships. Through its events, IAAPA APAC seeks to raise safety, operational and sustainability standards in the attractions industry, as well as provide valuable information and resources to its members.
Spring Agenda of the IAAPA Summit at Bali Safari Park
The Kick-Off Summit at Taman Safari Bali was packed with interesting activities and was made even more special by the welcome speech from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, to open the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit 2024. In his speech, he said: “Congratulations on the successful holding of the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit in Bali. This is a great platform to exchange ideas and create new partnerships in the development of the attractions industry. Through collaborative efforts, I believe we can unlock the full potential of the tourism industry and creative economy for creating 4.4 million jobs and building a sustainable ecosystem towards a golden Indonesia in 2045,” he concluded.
The first day of the event will be full of a series of interesting agendas at Bali Safari Park, starting with the Coffee Meet & Greet which will give participants the opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. This will be followed by the “Sharing Education” session which will feature prominent speakers, including Taufik, President of the Indonesian Association for Family Recreation (ARKI); Wiweko Adi Nugroho, president of The Art & Culture Destination, Indonesia Recreation Park & Attraction (PUTRI); Greg Pern, theme park and experience manager at HB Leisure; and David Bogdonov, executive vice president of APAC Whitewater. Taman Safari Indonesia itself will be represented by Adrian Cecil, COO of Taman Safari Indonesia, who will also share his knowledge and experiences.
Participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to witness Indonesia’s first underwater theater show, Varuna, followed by a safari trip, around the Bali Safari Park to get a closer look at various animals in their natural habitat.
