Apple will reportedly announce the iMac later this month
TIME.CO, Jakarta – Recently Apple released the Apple Pencil with USB-C connector and now there is new news about the release of other devices. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will release iMac.
Based on the Power On bulletin published on October 22, 2023, he wrote that the first product launch would be on October 30, 2023. Gurman also calculated that in more than 900 days from the launch of the M1 iMac in the first half of 2021, Apple did not perform an update.
Gurman said he was told that Apple was planning to launch a Mac-focused product later this month, as cited by The Verge. “If you’re looking to order an iMac, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and one of the other high-end Pro models, some configurations won’t ship until November,” he explained.
According to him, the fact that Apple announced its earnings in November is a clear sign that something is happening in Cupertino. Apple is said to be postponing this quarter’s earnings discussion until after October, plus Apple just made announcements about Mac and iPad.
He was still discussing the launch time and didn’t go into details about the chip. However, in previous estimates, Gurman had explored an upgrade including the M3 chip in the new iMac.
Announcement
Apple’s other products, the 14- and 16-inch Pro laptops, were updated in January, so they may still be on the 2024 release schedule.
Gurman also answered readers’ questions, such as whether the next MacBook will have any design changes beyond improved internal parts. He said he doesn’t expect any significant differences other than the processor and perhaps a small upgrade to the display.
As for the most important changes, including the design side, it is estimated that they will happen in the iMac Pro in 2025 and the MacBook Pro OLED in 2026.
