GOOGLE updated the Android logo and mascot, Bugdroid. This time Bugdroid comes in three-dimensional form and is available in different colors, including rainbow.
As for the Android logo, there doesn’t seem to be anything too special. There is only one change in the font on Google. Meanwhile the first letter this time is capitalized.
Said Jason Fournier, Brand Manager at Google Google blog, Wednesday (9/6/2023) that the change better reflects the Google logo and creates a balance between the two. It therefore seems that Google and Android are close, that is, there is no impression that they are separating.
He went on to say that the changes were made to fulfill their vision when creating Android, namely creative freedom. So now they feel the need to continue making changes according to the desires and needs of the times.
“As an open platform, it’s important that our technology and brand are an invitation for people to create, connect and do more with Google on Android devices,” he said.
Android itself now has a new feature in the Lookout application that uses artificial intelligence to provide detailed descriptions of images, increasing accessibility for people who are blind or have low vision.
